I Daniel Ross Surveyor aforesaid do hereby [certify]
that upon careful examination I find the foregoing
duties amount to one pound Sixteen Shillings Sterling
and that upon the ... day ... of ... I delivered to William Lyall
Collr. [Collector] of the said duties for the Burgh of Montrose
an exact duplicate of this Acct. [Account] which
contained my Oath that the foregoing inhabitants
were duly Served with requisitions of the dates
aforesaid and that they are charged confirmable
to their returns to me from the best [information]
