I James Allan Surveyor aforesaid do hereby certify That
upon carefull Examination of the foregoing Several Rates &
duties I find they Amount in whole to Eight pounds Eleven
Shillings Sterg. [Sterling] & that upon the 23, Current I delivered to Mr
James Taylor in Linlithgow Collector of the Said duties for the
County Aforesaid, an exact duplicate of this above Account, duly
examined & compared with the foregoing which contained my Oath
that Notices were left with the Several Inhabitants or at their
Dwelling Houses of the duties annexed to their respective names
that they were chargebale with the sums set against their several
Names, certified to be due from them
